The Standard We Hold Every Technician To

Before a Breezy technician ever steps inside a customer's home, they have passed a rigorous vetting and training process that most HVAC companies don't have. This is not a checklist. It is a standard of character.

Background & Drug Screened

Every technician passes a full criminal background check and drug screening before entering any home. No exceptions.

Technically Certified

EPA 608 certification minimum. Ongoing technical education is required — not optional — at every level of the Breezy career path.

Leadership Trained

Every technician studies The Breezy Standard™ — our internal code of conduct built on Honor, Justice, Temperance, Fortitude, and Prudence.

Documented & Accountable

Every job is documented with before-and-after verification. Technicians sign off on their work. There is no hiding behind 'I think it's fine.'

Leveled & Reviewed

Technicians advance through a structured Level 1–7 system. Promotion requires demonstrated competency, not just time served.

Prepared Before They Arrive

Trucks are stocked the night before. Tools are checked in the morning. The work clock starts when work starts — not when the van pulls up.

What to Expect

A Day in the Life at Breezy

Field Technician (example):

Start with a quick morning huddle and clear plan
3–5 well-planned calls, not 10+ random stops
Time on each job to diagnose properly and explain findings
Use checklists and tools so you're not guessing or firefighting all day
End the day with clean notes and handoffs so the next person isn't blind

Every field technician at Breezy is ranked Level 1 through Level 7. Each level represents real skill, real trust, and real pay increases. No politics. No seniority games. You level up by proving mastery.

Apprentice

Learning the fundamentals. Shadowing senior techs. Building habits that will define your career.

Developing Technician

Running basic calls with oversight. Demonstrating reliability, punctuality, and attention to detail.

Competent Technician

Running calls independently. Diagnosing common issues. Trusted with customer-facing communication.

Proficient Technician

Handling complex diagnostics. Training Level 1–2 techs. Consistently delivering Breezy Standard™ work.

Advanced Technician

Trusted with the hardest calls and highest-value clients. A go-to resource for the entire team.

Expert Technician

Deep system-level mastery. Capable of designing solutions, leading complex installs, and mentoring others.

Master Technician

The highest field rank. Sets the technical standard for the company. A leader others aspire to become.

Captain

Lead a crew. Own the job site. Responsible for quality, safety, and team performance. Captains earn additional compensation on top of their mastery level.

Supervisor

Oversee multiple crews and projects. Develop Captains. Ensure The Breezy Standard™ is upheld across every job. Supervisors earn the highest field premium.

The Breezy Apprenticeship Program

We don't just hire technicians — we build them from the ground up. Our structured apprenticeship program takes motivated individuals with zero HVAC experience and transforms them into certified, leadership-minded professionals.
